If you take a look, above, you’ll see two very different images!
The image in the banner of this page is from our Baptism Sunday last year in March when a number of young people were baptised, while the image immediately above this text is from the Guyatt family’s home a few weeks ago. The contrast between the two images is quite stark! In one, there are hundreds of people gathered with no thought of social distancing. The other might seem more humble in comparison, but we know that in both situations Jesus’ name is being proclaimed! Both images show people coming together to worship our amazing God and surely that is what matters. We are so grateful to God that He has continued to provide ways for us to gather and worship Him during this pandemic. While we are looking forward to meeting in a large group sometime in the future, the opportunity to meet in homes is really quite special and is how the early church originally started, so we’re in good company!
Please join us online this Sunday, 26 July, at 9.30 am for our special home church worship event. We encourage you to invite a few people over to your place to join you. Take a look, below, for a bit more information about what we’ll be doing this Sunday and how you can join in at home.
